NARROWSBURG WATER DISTRICT

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The NWD will be flushing hydrants from 6am to 12pm April 25th and 26th. Flushing the hydrants help to verify proper operation of the hydrants and help maintain water quality in the distribution system. Also at this time, main valves will be exercised to ensure their continued operation. During flushing you may notice a loss in water pressure and a red discoloration in the water. This is normal and will be temporary. Customers are asked to refrain from using water during this period unless absolutely necessary. Customers are also advised to drain a small portion of water from their hot water heater and to check for this discoloration before resuming regular laundry washing.
