LIVINGSTON MANOR – The newly-formed Livingston Manor-Roscoe School District was scheduled to have its first Board of Education election today, February 13, but Mother Nature had other ideas.
“Due to the severe weather we are postponing the vote by one week,” a spokesperson from the district said. “Everything else – the time and location – will remain the same.”
The vote will now be on Thursday, February 20 from noon - 8 p.m. at the Livingston Manor Central School.
Voters across the district will be asked to elect 7 people to the new school board.
There are 19 candidates running.
