Hop on over for a delightful breakfast buffet with the Easter Bunny at the Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, March 28 with breakfast being served from 9am - 11am. Bring your phone to snap photos with the Easter Bunny!
After breakfast, enjoy an exciting Easter Egg Hunt on the Tango Café lawn. Tickets are $15 each with children 5 and under $5.
The Woodburne Fire Department will hold its Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Noon. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures. Plastic Easter Eggs filled with goodies can be hunted. Bring a bag to collect the goodies returning the plastic eggs to be recycled for next year. If you are interested in distributing goodies or need additional information, call 845-798-8648.
Chametz Burning will take place on April 1, 2026 at the Woodridge Firehouse from 6:50am - 11:58am. Bring only Chametz to Burn - no plastic bags.

The Landfield Avenue Synagogue is set with All Things Passover. The Synagogue is seeking donations for the Passover blessing (mitzvah) of Maos Chittim - Passover Tzedaka, to help neighbors in need. A monetary collection is being accepted to help families in need for the holidays. The more contributions received, the more assistance possible.
Checks may be made out to the Landfield Ave. Synagogue. Please note purpose of donation in the memo space and mail to POB 410, Monticello, New York 12701. If you are in need, please contact the Synagogue Office at 845-794-8470.
In addition, contact the Synagogue Office to “sell” your Chametz. Services will be held on the first two days of Passover (April 2 and 3, 2026), Shabbat Services on April 4, 2026, and the last two days of Passover (April 8 and 9, 2026). All services begin at 9am. Yizkor Services will begin no earlier than 10:15 on April 9, 2026.

Due to the holidays, the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce First Friday Networking Breakfast will take place on the Second Friday, April 10, 2026. This special Breakfast will take place at the Regional Food Bank Hudson Valley at 580 State Route 416, Montgomery, New York at 7:30 AM. While the event takes place just outside Sullivan County, the work happening there reaches deep into our community every day. The Regional Food Bank is a not-for-profit organization that collects donated food from the food industry and distributes it to more than 1,000 partner agencies and programs feeding our neighbors in need throughout 23 counties of northeastern New York. The food provided by the Regional Food Bank helps to feed over 350,000 people each month. In 2025, the Food Bank distributed in Sullivan County more than 2.1 million pounds of food (enough for over 1.8 million meals) to our neighbors in need. Their vision is that all people have the nutritious food they need to thrive.

What an awesome day when we are able to welcome twenty new citizens to the United States. The Naturalization Ceremony was held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at the Legislative Meeting Room in the Government Center. The Honorable Jacqueline Ricciani presided with Sullivan County Clerk Russell Reeves installing the new Americans with the Oath. Congratulation to all.
