To the editor:

Our neighborhood in Loch Sheldrake has been working to humanely manage a growing population of abandoned cats through our project, Neighbors Loving Cats. We trap, neuter, spay, vaccinate, foster, and place these cats with the help of local rescues and the Town of Fallsburg.

We urgently need foster homes for kittens, adopters for friendly young cats, and barn or farm placements for fixed adult cats who provide excellent natural pest control.

Also, if you have been involved in trapping cats and have firsthand experience, we welcome your assistance and any guidance that you can offer to us.

If you can help, please contact Larry Schafman at prguy1942@yahoo.com. Your support will directly improve the lives of these animals and benefit our community.

Thank you.

Larry Schafman, Neighbors Loving Cats
