All children must be accompanied by an adult. Storytime is free and requires no registration. All are welcome as long as space is available.

Baby Storytime, Tuesdays at 11:00am in the Children’s Programming Room. Baby story times incorporate music and movement while introducing babies to books and new vocabulary. This story time is appropriate for developmental ages 0 thru 24 months old. Old siblings are welcome, though the focus will remain on the babies. Baby toys will be brought out after the stories to encourage socializing and community building. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Storytime is free and requires no registration. Several individuals have recorded their oral histories which depict a diverse series of experiences growing up in and around Monticello. Anyone interested in contributing to this project and sharing their personal account of our region's local history can call the library at (845) 794-4660 x 9 to leave their contact information or click here to submit their information digitally.

Please note that the library will be closed Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, January 19th.
