Starting this December, Port Jervis will have a new recurring food pantry to support families in the Tri-State area. The first distribution event will take place on December 13 at Orange Square Veterans Park, with ongoing donation drop-offs available at Fox N Hare Brewing Co. (Port Jervis) and Mamma Grace’s Pizza (Sparrow Bush). The effort is driven entirely by local volunteers and businesses responding to growing food insecurity.

We’re kicking things off with a community social and donation event on December 8 at Fox N Hare Brewing Co. in Port Jervis. There will be live music, and attendees are encouraged to bring a bag of nonperishable food as the “cover charge.”

Through word of mouth, we’ve already seen donations from our wonderful community start to come in, but we’d love to spread awareness so families needing assistance can attend the distribution event on the 13th.
