NOTICE TO BIDDERS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT, pursuant to a Motion of the Town Board of the Town of Callicoon, Sullivan County, New York, sealed bids for the purchase of "Ice Control Material/Sand" up to 5000 yards to be delivered to the Highway Garage, 31 Wahl Road, Jeffersonville, NY, by October 1, 2022, will be received at the Office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, 19 Legion Street, Jeffersonville, NY, 12748, during regular business hours, and until 7:30 pm delivered to the Town Clerk prior to the start of the meeting on April 11, 2022.

The bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the Town Hall, 19 Legion Street, Jeffersonville, New York at

7:30 P.M. ON April 11, 2022

Bids should be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Office of the Town Clerk and shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the bidder, as well as the notation "Ice Control Material/Sand". All bids will be awarded at the May 9, 2022, Regular Town Board Meeting.

Any questions concerning the specifications should be referred to Kris Scullion, Highway Superintendent, at (845)482-5505.

The Town of Callicoon reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to accept only those most advantageous to the Town. We also reserve the right to use the County and/or State bid at the Town's discretion.

The attention of the bidders is particularly called to the non-collusive bid certification, which must be provided, pursuant to Section 103-D if the General Municipal Law and that section of Section 103-A of the General Municipal Law, is hereby considered to be part of any contract to purchase, which may be entered into.
