Gloria Waslyn with her Parrots for Peace will be the guest speaker at the November meeting of the Catskill Exotic Bird Club, Thursday, November 12, at 7PM.  The meeting is at 20 Crystal Place in Monticello.  Gloria Waslyn and her flock of Blue-and-Gold macaws have been ubiquitous ambassadors for peace, the natural world and the love of the natural world. Gloria is a fascinating and entertaining speaker; she and her birds have appeared at innumerable events and have enlightened and inspired countless people.  She was a confidant of Pete Seeger and is an expert of all things avian and our essential interrelationship with the natural world. This is a chance to see and hold these gentle-giant birds; Gloria is a world-class photographer, and visitors will be able to be photographed with a macaw. For more info call (845) 794-7966.
