PHILLIPSPORT – The Phillipsport Community Center launches its Monthly Music Night season on Saturday, May 16, with a “need to see and hear” duo! Born in Asheville, NC and carried northward to Warwick, NY by Hurricane Helene, Route One is the songwriting duo of Mikal Federici and Anna Savchuk. Their sound is a seamless blend of folk, pop, rock and more, delivered through catchy originals and reimagined covers. From haunting minor-key melodies to driving rock rhythms, their stripped-back, two-piece arrangements put their “sweet and shadowy” harmonies center stage. Something good that came from Helene!
Doors open at 6:30. $10 at the door includes music, a slice of Andy’s homemade pie baked fresh that morning, a little “schtick” to start the evening, and a non-alcoholic beverage. Held outdoors weather permitting, inside our charming one room schoolhouse if not. Check our Facebook page or call 845-313-1772 for more information.
PCC Music Nights are funded in part by the NYS Council on the Arts through the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA). PCC is located at 657 Red Hill Rd, Phillipsport, NY.
