JEFFERSONVILLE – An entire summer’s worth of plein air painting will be on display at the Jeffersonville Library on August 8. Artwork created outdoors at Lake Superior Park, Minisink Battlegrounds Park, Backyard Park in Jeffersonville, and Fort Delaware will be included in an exhibit at the Jeffersonville Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library from August 1 through August 16.

The exhibit will include the best efforts of more than 30 artists who participated in community paint-outs sponsored by the Library and the Barryville Area Arts Association. An opening reception is scheduled for August 8, from 10 AM – 2 PM. Complimentary refreshments will be provided, as well as live music courtesy of singer/songwriter and recording artist Calla Sun.

This event sponsored by the Western Sullivan Public Library and the Barryville Area Arts Association, made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.
