LIBERTY – The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that the Exit 100 ramp from eastbound State Route 17 to State Route 52 in the Village of Liberty, Sullivan County, will be closed on the following days, weather permitting, to facilitate curb replacements: Wednesday, April 16; Thursday, April 17; Tuesday, April 22; and Wednesday, April 23.
Motorists should follow the posted detour utilizing Exit 99, to North Main Street to State Route 52.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
