LIBERTY – The Redhawks had their hands full with the Sawyers on Thursday night. After the Sawyers took a 21-point lead after the first two quarters, it was looking like it might be a shutout. The Redhawks just couldn’t seem to close in on the Sawyers’, rushing yards sending the home team into the break scoreless. The third and fourth quarters were much of the same for the Redhawks as they continued to battle to generate any type of offensive gains, and the torrential downpour for most of the fourth quarter didn’t make it any easier. But there was a bright spot as Liberty’s AUstin Frunzi rushed for an 80-yard TD with just :40 seconds left on the clock to put the Redhawks on the board and make the score 32-6 to close out the game.
