ROCKLAND  — Rockland Central School District will honor veterans next month with a free breakfast and program at each of the schools. All veterans from Roscoe and Livingston Manor are invited to either or both events.

The event at the elementary school in Roscoe will begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10. The middle/high school event will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 12.

An assembly in each of the schools’ auditoriums will follow the free breakfasts. Breakout sessions, where students can have conversations with local veterans, will conclude the events.

RSVPs are not needed for the elementary program. Veterans who wish to attend the Livingston Manor event are asked to call MS/HS Principal Adam Larson at 845-439-1501, ext. 7700.

The programs will be an opportunity to thank and honor our military heroes.
