HURLEYVILLE – Holiday time will be upon us soon. It is time to prepare for the annual Theme Tree Exhibit at the Sullivan County Museum in Hurleyville sponsored by the Sullivan County Historical Society. Individuals, Organizations, and Businesses are invited to decorate a tree for the holidays.

We would like all trees and holiday decorations to be ready for the annual Holiday in Hurleyville on Saturday December 7 from 12:00 – 5:00 PM. You must provide your own tree and decorations including lights. It can be no taller than 6 feet and must be artificial. Complete instructions can be found on the attached form.

We also welcome Kwanzaa and Hannukah displays.

To reserve your space, email scecil@scnyhistory.org or even call it in at 845-434-8044. Whichever way you choose, be sure to include the contact person’s name, phone number and email address.

Trees may be set up beginning Friday, November 29 until Friday, December 6.  They are to remain until after New Years.

Last year we had several displays that were created by first-timers as well as by our usual participants. Everyone’s tree and display received rave reviews from the public.
