It’s 1962, and Tracy Turnblad just wants to dance her way onto the local TV show—but when her newfound fame inspires her to fight for inclusion and equality, she shows that one girl really can change the world. Featuring the beloved hits “Good Morning, Baltimore,” “Welcome to the 60’s,” and “You Can’t Stop the Beat,” this Tony Award–winning musical is a joyful celebration of love, acceptance, and standing up for what’s right. Get ready to laugh, dance, and leave the theater smiling—Hairspray is the feel-good event of the season.

The Forestburgh Playhouse production is proudly sponsored by Jeffrey and Nicole Gerson, whose continued support helps bring bold and inspiring stories to life on stage.
