As we check in on another week of the Healthiest Fire Department Challenge, our leaderboard shows that Grahamsville Fire Department has taken a significant lead. Kauneonga Lake Fire Department remains in second place with 548 points, while Smallwood-Mongaup Valley Fire Department has maintained their score of 281 points since last week’s update. In response to the ongoing opioid epidemic in Sullivan County, Woodbourne Fire Department recently participated in lifesaving Narcan training. With first responders frequently called to overdose emergencies, being properly trained is essential—not only to save lives, but to protect their own safety as well.”
