Sullivan County hopefuls head to States!

The Fallsburg Comets are sending five athletes to the state championships this weekend. Tyiese Mack far left and Kaddyjatou Darboe center, will compete in the high jump, Treyvon Hayden far right, will compete in the pentathlon, Camdyn Hoefling second from right, will compete in the pole vault, and Zoey Ketcham second from left, will compete in the 100 meter dash.

SULLIVAN COUNTY – On June 13 and 14, student-athletes from Sullivan County will compete in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Track and Field Championships at Webster Schroeder High School in Webster, NY. Representatives from Fallsburg (shown below), Liberty’s Brooke Bull, will compete in the pole vault, Monticello’s Gabriela Almonte will run the 100-meter, Sullivan West sends Gracyn Halloran-800 meter, and Esteban Ramos- pole vault, and Tri-Valley sends seven (shown below). All the athletes heading to states received qualifying times at state-quals last week to advance to competition at the state level.
