The Janice Center Announces New Season of Music Together

JEFFERSONVILLE – Put parents and their children ages 0-4 in a spacious room with other families, supply them with a music-based curriculum involving movement, dance, playing instruments, props and more and you will experience the incredible magic of Music Together. The Janice Center's flagship program is designed for children to get in touch with their inner musician while connecting with others. The combination of musical, emotional and social development derived from a weekly 45-minute class has parents amazed:

“Nothing I do for my child even comes close to the positive impact Music Together has,” said one parent.

Said another, “It's the best program around for a young child. It offers everything - interaction, socialization, music, dance and most of all FUN.”

Since 2008, more than 2,000 children have experienced Music Together classes at The Janice Center. Many have gone on to play musical instruments, participate in dance classes, and perform in school plays with a more developed musical ear and sense of rhythm and movement. In fact, of the 38 students in the cast and pit of the recently concluded production of Willy Wonka at Sullivan West High School, close to one third took Music Together at The Janice Center.

The Spring 2026 session (10 weeks in duration) will offer two class options: Thursdays (9:30-10:15 a.m.) and Saturday (11:30 a.m. -12:15 p.m.). The Saturday class starts April 4; the Thursday class has held one class, but registration is still accepted. To register, please download a registration form in the registration section of The Janice Center's website www.janicecenter.com or by calling/texting 845-423-8028.
