DAMASCUS, PA – Tri-Gal 4-H Club collected almost 100 items to donate to the Wayne/Pike Farm Bureau during the month of March. The farm bureau then donated the non-perishable items to the Ronald McDonald House as part of Farmers’ Care Day. Our club collected shelf-stable food items, office supplies, paper products, as well as cleaning and hygiene items to assist with this great cause. The Ronald McDonald House provides a free place to stay for families while children are receiving medical care away from home. Our club was happy to help with this community service project.
On Saturday, April 25, at the Spring Meeting of the Wayne/Pike Farm Bureau, our club president was presented a plaque to thank our club for participating this year.
