NARROWSBURG –All are welcome this Sunday, June 28, at 10:15 AM for a service of the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, featuring guest speaker Chuck Heyn of Veterans for Peace.

Chuck Heyn, a local Vietnam-era veteran, will share reflections drawn from his military service and his ongoing commitment to peace. His journey—from soldier to advocate—will offer a thoughtful perspective on the realities of war and the enduring commitment to compassion, conscience, and community. He served as a medic with “Cobra” Company (Headquarters Company), 327th Infantry, and was also attached to the Tigers.

Veterans For Peace is dedicated to building a culture of peace by using the voices and experiences of military veterans to oppose war and promote nonviolent solutions to conflict. The organization works to increase public awareness of the human and environmental costs of war, advocate for the reduction of military spending, and support justice, human rights, and reconciliation both in the United States and around the world.
