May 20 – The Kid’s Fest sponsored by the JEMS group held last Saturday at The Backyard Park was a huge success, and the weather could not have been better! A big thank you to everyone that participated and those of you that came out to support all of us and enjoy the day. I know the kids had lots of fun and I for one loved watching everyone have a great day while I sat on the stage and enjoyed DJ Jim and his music! Thank you to our Jeffersonville Fire Department for being a part of this day too! Definitely was a day of fun for the kids, families and the community!
The Middle School students at Sullivan West learned the basics of Banking 101 with a presentation from our Jeff Bank. They learned about smart saving habits, check writing and about credit and debit cards too. Thank you to Jeff Bank for supporting our students and helping to prepare them for the future.

There are workers on many of our roads right now (lots of our back roads with limited lanes). Seems no matter where you go they are repairing lines, maintaining potholes, cleaning up downed trees, and working/burying lots of orange lines. Be careful, slow down, stay alert and, if needed, move over to keep everyone safe.
