MONTICELLO – The organizer of the 7th Annual “Woody Doty Memorial Dart Tournament” has just announced that this year’s event will be held on Saturday, December 7th, at Lakeview Pizzeria in Lake Huntington.  The proceeds of the tournament go to help fund the Monticello High School Trap Team.

Kathy Brandes has partnered with Catskill Amusements to run this event to honor the memory of her long-time companion.  Woody was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, a champion trap shooter and a competitive dart player.

Kathy decided that using a dart tournament to help kids learn and participate in the sport of trap shooting would be the perfect way to honor Woody.  Last year’s event raised over $2000 for the school team through the matches and sponsorships.  To find out more about the tournament, or to register, contact Kathy at kbrandes@brandescpa.com
