A jam-packed weekend ahead

As the old saying goes, we are all working for the weekend – and this weekend could be one worth all the work. Why, you ask? First start by asking yourself, when was the last time you felt this warm and watched the leaves change and fall all at the same time? It might have been just last year, maybe it has been longer than that, but still, one of the greatest joys of life is that things don’t stick around forever. 

So with that in mind, be sure to partake in some halloween happenings coming up this weekend and the days following:

On Friday, October 25, check out Friday Night Fright event at Peace Love and Pumpkins at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Woodbourne Fire Department’s Trunk or Treat from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., 3rd Annual HO&WL Moonlit Trail Walk along the Rail Trail in Mamakating, Crystal Connection’s Halloweekend until Sunday, the 27th, and the Decrepit Ghouls Variety Show at 7 p.m. at New Memories in Parksville 

On Saturday, October 26th, give a go at the North American Cultural Laboratory’s Dance Macabre and After Party at Black Velvet Lounge, Catskill Brewery’s Halloween Party at 3 p.m., Elk’s Craft Fair at Elk’s Lodge from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Smallwood Civic Association’s 5th Annual Trick or Treat Fair, Hurleyville Performing Arts Center’s Halloween Dance & Costume Party at 8 p.m., Delaware Youth Center Children’s Halloween Parade & Party, Town of Liberty’s Halloween Spooky Parade at 10 a.m., Halloweenfest from Noon - 3 p.m. at Wurtsboro’s Veteran Park Halloween Costume Contest at Roscoe Mountain Club from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Halloween & Harvest Fest from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Barryville Farmer’s Market, and the Rock Hill Business & Community Association’s Halloween Trunk or Treat at the Rock Hill Fire Department  

On Sunday, October 27th, visit Halloween Classes: Cake & Sip from Cuppie Cake Desserts at 2 p.m., Cochecton Pump House’s Kids and Dogs Costume Party from noon - 6 p.m., and the Sullivan County Chamber Orchestra performance at 3 p.m. at the Landfield Avenue Synagogue.
