HURLEYVILLE- The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce held their annual fundraiser “Passport to Paradise” on April 29 at the Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre.

Inspired by various Polynesian cultures, the ballroom was decked out in multi-colored palm trees, lei flower necklaces, and other beach-themed decorations.

The earnings gathered from the annual event is intended to support the programs and work of the Chamber of Commerce and its members, which include a variety of businesses from all around the area.

Many local business owners socialized and dined on an authentic 3 course Polynesian cuisine paired with tropical-themed specialty cocktails.

The live entertainment put on by Hurleyville-based business, Party Master, was filled with visuals of Island themes, including fire and hula dancers that gave party-goers a dazzling show.

Local business owners were asked to sponsor the event at various levels, whose sponsorships are used to continue the work the chamber does to support small business in the county.
