Alma Doyle Hart, 81, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2023.

She was born on June 5, 1942, in Callicoon, NY, to the late Henry and Alma Doyle. Alma dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse before retiring. She was a devoted Catholic and lived her life with faith and compassion.

Alma made Vero Beach her home 20 years ago, having relocated from Virginia. She is survived by her children, three daughters: Ann Farnsworth and her husband Steve of Vero Beach, Eileen Holmes and her husband George of San Diego, CA, and Monica Paro of California, MD; and three sons: Larry Hart and his wife Alison of Amsterdam, NY, Philip Hart and his wife Monica of Fargo, ND, and Peter Hart and his wife Shelly of King George, VA, sister Linda Doyle English, Fair Lawn, NJ and brother Christopher Doyle, Albany NY.  She is predeceased by her husband Lawrence Hart, brother John Doyle, and Mary Doyle. 

Alma leaves behind a legacy of love and family, as she is remembered by her 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was the beloved of so many in both Virginia and in Vero Beach. There was never a person that she did not like and her favorite expression she spoke to others was “Angels all around you.” She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Hart.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, December 15th, at St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach, FL.

Alma was laid to rest on Monday, December 18th, at South Florida National Cemetery alongside her beloved husband, Lawrence.

Alma’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
