Happy anniversary to Debra and ‘Farmer’ Gabriel.

We send our condolences to the entire Culligan family, friends and community as we hear of Ann’s passing on June 12th and prior news that Jim died in late December. Town of Bethel Offices are closed on July 4th. Fireworks will be displayed over White-Kauneonga Lake at dusk. Good vantage points are Kauneonga restaurant decks, KL Community Park and DEC Launch or ‘afloat on your boat’. 

Bethel Lakeside Music Series is held every Thursday at the Kauneonga Lake Community Park from 6-8pm. Bring a chair to enjoy great music and entertaining performances, speakers, raffles and a lovely setting every week. Free. “Scott Eckers Broadway Hits” is on schedule for the 6th.

Stop by the Kauneonga Lake Farm & Makers Market at Kauneonga Square every Saturday from 11-2pm. The market hosts farm vendors, crafts, art, music, demos and more.

SC Historical Society hosts Bill Duncan’s “FourPlays about Q&A’s” at the Hurleyville Museum on the 8th and 9th at 2pm. $10 incl dessert. 845-434-8044.

The venue’s hosting another busy week. Four concerts in five days! “Tears for Fears” with “Cold War Kids” take the Pavilion stage on the evening of Wednesday, the 5th. “Chris Stapleton” is in concert with “Marty Stuart & his Fabulous Superlatives” and  “Allen Stone” on Thursday. “Big Time Rush” with “Max and Jax” perform on the 7th. Spend Sunday night, the 9th, entertained by “Counting Crows” with “Dashboard Confessional”.

Besides multi-age programs and activities offered at Monticello’s Crawford Library, catch the ‘Music on Broadway’ series. “The Homegrown String Band” perform on the 6th at 6:30pm.

Liberty Soul Stage hosts “LaKe St”- LAura, KEnny, and STeve, on Saturday, the 8th at 6pm.

Don’t miss an Eldred Cabaret Series with “Steven Brinberg-Simply Barbra” on the 9th at 7pm. (15% dinner savings with reserved show ticket. 845-557-8316).
