Our condolences to the family and friends of Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Lohmeyer who passed away last month. We extend sympathy to the Cicigline -Abraham families as Vincent Cicigline died in early November. Condolences to the family of Lance Heyward who passed recently.

Bethel has approved an under 2% tax cap 2024 budget along with 5.3 and 2.6 million dollar resolutions for a new Highway Department Garage and the new Town Hall, respectively. Next meeting November 15th. Possible discussions: environmental issues, water and sewer qualities, and status of the solar array, which has an income of $28,000...     

Applications for local CEAP are available at Town office. A one-time grant is given to those in need, meeting requirements.

The Nourish Your Neighbor campaign collects non-perishable food for Shephard’s Pantry until the 15th however, donations continue at the WL Church site. Our local Pantry helps 400 families and 200 individuals.

Support and shop the ‘Past Perfect Bookstore’, located in the Duggan Community Center, for deeply discounted reading.
