The ‘Pucky Huddle x 17B Corner House’ has fallen. Many of us have witnessed the breakdown, following it for the past few years. More recently, it became a popular Photo Op destination, leaving the nearby shoulder of the road bare from vehicle tracks, in and out of Pucky Huddle. It’s made the news, been the creation of stories and gathering of historical facts, been painted and photographed, became a popular landmark and the object of memories. The small, brown wood building, a 17B corner sentry, was razed by time and elements, yet has risen to nostalgic Bethel lore...

DVAA has Cadence Giersbach’s ‘Anxious Nature’ and Warren Pardi’s ‘The Curvilinear Form’ exhibits through the 28th. Artist’s Talks are scheduled with Giersbach on the 13th and with Pardi on the 20th. The Alliance is hiring and seeking Riverfest vendors and grant panelists.                                          

Narrowsburg Union offers a 5 Gallery Exhibit until May 26th.                                                                                             

View DVO Arts Nest’s “Metamorphosis Exhibition” through May. Open Mic is on for the 9th, at 6pm. The next scheduled AN Concert is the 20th. 

HPAC offers Senior Cinema, showing ‘Letters to Juliet’ on the 11th at 2pm with a social hour following the film($10). The Centre also screens “Kung Fu Panda” on the 12-14th (Fri 6pm, Sat 3pm, Sun 2pm). Attend a ‘Busy Bumblebee Sip & Paint’ at the Nook@HPAC on the 13th at 4-6pm ($45). Watch for changes at Tango Cafe, relaunching in May.                                                                                                                                            

Callicoon Movie Theater screens “Lost Angel: The Genius of Judee Sill” on the 12-15th (7:30 all, 2pm Sat, Sun). CMT will be closed the 16th through May 2.
