The Bethel Council of the Arts had a ‘soft opening’  in Kauneonga Lake on the 4th. We stopped in to support local arts, become official ‘24BCA Members, and while they were still hanging an exhibit,  learned of their future plans which Catskill Art Space’s ‘Malen, Pearlman, Modder and Yoes’ exhibits run until June 22nd.

DVAA: The Alliance Gallery-Hanna Washburn and the Loft-Catherine Chester exhibits run until June 9th.       

Visit the DVO Arts Nest’s “Metamorphosis Exhibition” through May. Open Mic is on for the 14th at 6pm. ‘Brooke Schooley in Concert’ is scheduled for the 18th at 7pm.    

The Forestburgh Playhouse Tavern Spring Series hosts ‘Far Beyond Gone’ on the 17th at 8pm. DO, food and drink available at 6:30pm.

Narrowsburg Union hosts a 5 Gallery Exhibit until May 26th. The NU Farmer’s Market begins on the 18th from 10-1pm.

Shadowland Mainstage season begins May 31st. 

SCDW presents ‘Blithe Spirit’ at the Fallsburg Rivoli Theater on the 17th and 18th at 8pm and 19th at 2pm.  

The WCAA in Honesdale offers John Kascht’s ‘Turning Pages’ exhibit until June 15th. 

HPAC offers an ‘Improv Workshop’ on the 16th from 6-8:30pm. ‘IF’ is screened on the 17-19th (Fri 6pm, Sat 3pm, Sun 2pm).Attend Sr Social Dance Series on most Thursdays at the Ballroom at 12:30pm (845-985-4722).  

Callicoon Movie Theater screens “The Fall Guy” on the 17-20th (all 7:30, Sat and Sun 2pm).

Eldred Preserve kicks off their Bradstan Cabaret Series with Karen Mason on the 26th. Stop in for ‘Sunday Happy Hour’ and ‘Wine About Mondays’.
