Bethel Woods nominated for Best Amphitheater…again!

BETHEL – For the second year in a row, the Amphitheater at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts has been nominated for Best Amphitheater as part of USA TODAY 10BEST. It’s a nomination that follows a major milestone in 2024, when the Pavilion was voted the #1 amphitheater in the U.S.

Bethel Woods, situated on the historic grounds of the 1969 Woodstock Festival, combines world-class performances with a setting that deeply respects its cultural roots. The campus is anchored by the 15,000-seat Pavilion, which is complemented by smaller performance venues and year-round offerings such as the Museum at Bethel Woods, as well as an ever-growing campground experience.

Coincidentally, the venue is also celebrating its 20th anniversary in time for this year’s recognition.

“We’re honored that the Pavilion at Bethel Woods has been nominated for USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Amphitheater, especially as we celebrate our 20th anniversary,” CEO Eric Frances told the Democrat. “It’s a meaningful recognition of the incredible energy our fans, artists and team bring to the venue each season.”

Public voting is open through May 11, with supporters able to cast one vote per day. Although the Pavilion is among the top contenders, organizers emphasize one important message: every vote—every day—counts.
