Blessing Food Pantry seeks community support

CALLICOON — The Blessing Food Pantry, located at Callicoon United Methodist Church, continues to serve local families in need and is calling on the community for donations.

Open on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 1 to 3 p.m., the pantry provides essential groceries to residents facing food insecurity. It operates out of 9290 Route 97 in Callicoon and is supported by volunteers and community contributions.

According to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and Sullivan County’s official resources, the pantry’s schedule is consistent year-round, with donations of nonperishable items, fresh produce, and household goods welcomed at the church during pantry hours.

Those wishing to help can contact the pantry at 845-887-4452 for information on needed items, volunteer opportunities, or monetary contributions.

Community members say every donation—large or small—helps keep the shelves stocked and neighbors fed.
