Just prior to the Section IX quarterfinals varsity basketball game on Feb. 27, Monticello Board of Education President Tim Crumley and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Matt Evans presented Coach Chris Russo with a Board Award. Board Awards recognize individuals who make outstanding contributions to the Monticello community. In Mr. Russo’s case, the award celebrated his commitment to the Monticello athletics program and his 150th varsity coaching win, a milestone he achieved during the Panther’s victory against Liberty at SUNY Sullivan, earlier in February.  Congratulations to Coach Russo!
