Arieon Frazier, of Jeffersonville, graduated on November 17 from the Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, NJ. Her 8 weeks of training involved tough mental and physical challenges. Arieon is a 2020 graduate of Sullivan West Central School and the daughter of Bob and Tammy Frazier of Jeffersonville, who attended the graduation ceremony, pictured above. Following her commission as a non rate, she will be serving at a small boat station in Rhode Island. Arieon said, “I’d like to dedicate this article to my family. Without the support system back home, I would not have had the opportunity to finish my training. To my mother, father, and brother who have taken on the responsibility of caring for 4 little ones, my sister and brother-in-law who are helping my sister Karson heal, To Karson who is working hard to get better and back to her babies, my friends, who had filled in for me when I was not home, and to the community who had reached out and provided support in so many ways, your efforts are seen and continue to be felt. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.”
