MONTICELLO — Emergency personnel, including Catskills Hatzolah, were dispatched to a reported car crash rollover in Monticello at approximately 7:30 p.m. on March 9 that resulted in one fatality and one injury.

According to authorities, the car overturned and collided with a tree at the intersection of Old Liberty Road and Frazier Road.

Authorities reported that one person was dead and that two others were trapped in the car, one of which was transported to Weschester Medical Center. The Democrat spoke with Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, who was unable to provide the names of the victims and further information by presstime Monday morning.
