FALLSBURG – The Fallsburg Comets hosted the Tri-Valley Bears in an early-season meet last week. In a definitive first-place finish for the girls was Anna Furman of TV, with a course completion time of 21:55. Emma Richardson, Addison Dymond, Kenzie Krier, and Maria Gelsomino all secured a spot in the top five overall finishers in the category. 

First-place finisher for the Fallsburg Comets was Hailey Vogel with a course completion time of 28:46. Autumn Rain-Atkinson, Helen Vasquez, Alisha Tremper, and Jennifer Fuentes rounded out the finishers in the girls category for Fallsburg. Less than a minute separated the first and second-place finishers.

 Lorenzo Haffner of TV finished in first, with a time of 21:56, and his teammate Brady Knight closed out his run with a time of 22:21. Fallsburg took the third, fourth, and fifth place spots. Treyvon Hayden was the top overall finisher for Fallsburg with a course completion time of 22:26.

 Jozyr McNeil, and Ayden Carpenito both finished in the top five for the boys.

The Comets are set to host Liberty, Homestead School, and Rockland today at 4:30 pm.

Tri-Valley cross-country will be on the road this weekend in Arizona.
