SULLIVAN COUNTY – The wet weather has struck again, halting several soccer matches earlier this week. The rainy weather put a damper on school sports last year, with schools scrambling to make sure games were rescheduled or shifted to alternate locations. This year, many teams are hoping for better conditions, as consistent rain can disrupt training schedules before the winter season even begins. Coaches and athletic directors work on contingency plans to ensure that athletes don’t miss out on valuable playing and practice time.
