LOCH SHELDRAKE — The first annual Liberty NY Rotary Club Dance to Benefit the Special Olympics was held on Friday at the Loch Sheldrake Firemen’s Park, and raised over $1,500.

“We are incredibly grateful to all of our event sponsors and attendees, as well as the Loch Sheldrake Fire Company for use of the park, DJ Mazz. of Prestige Productions for volunteering his time, and PepsiCo/Frito Lay for their generous donation of chips and soft drinks,” said Liberty NY Rotary Club President Elect and Dance Committee Chairperson Joseph Abraham.

“We also want to thank the dedicated staff from the Arc Greater Hudson Valley and New Hope Community that brought those they support out to dance with us,” Abraham continued. “Our committee hopes this new annual event will continue to serve as an example of inclusivity, while raising funds for a great cause, for years to come.”
