Adriana Ponce Agrendano, an eighth grader from Liberty Middle School, finished fourth in the New York State Elks Hoop Shoot contest in Camillus on March 2.

She made her way to the State contest after competing in the local, district and regional contests, and finished fourth in the girls 12-13 age group.
