SULLIVAN COUNTY — On Saturday, October 6 the Sullivan County Sheriff's Patrol was called to Schroeder Road in the Town of Thompson to investigate vandalism to a small bus. At the location deputies found that all the windows had been smashed out of the vehicle. Deputies conducted neighborhood interviews and retrieved video surveillance which led them to five local youths age 14 to 16. The suspects were arrested on Thursday, October 11 for Felony Criminal Mischief 3rd degree. They were released to their parents to appear in Family Court next week. The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Monticello Police School Resource Officer.
