Foot Locker hosted the Northeast Regional race on November 27th, a competition that brings harriers of the highest caliber together for a chance to compete on the national stage. Both Adam Furman (JR), Tri-Valley, and Evan Waterton (SR), Monticello, earned a spot in the Marty Lewis Championship Boys race in Van Cortlandt Park. Furman finished in 23rd place with a time of 15:54.5, while Waterton finished 46th with a time of 16:20.7. There were a total of 237 boys in the championship race.
Also representing Tri-Valley at Van Cortlandt Park were Craig Costa (SO) and Van Furman (FR) who ran in the Freshman/Sophomore Boys race. Costa finished in 8th place with a time of 17:30, and Furman finished in 17th place with a time of 17:50.6. The two Bears finished in the top 20 out of 132 runners.
