Bridging community through music

One of the magical qualities of music is unity - this is understood well by local musician Shane Rennison, who held a vinyl release party at the Old That Glitters Is Old thrift store in Hurleyville last Saturday.

In addition to showcasing his most recent releases on vinyl, Rennison collaborated with other local businesses like “What’s Poppin?” and Catskill Brewery.

“I want to bring a lot of the community together,” Rennison said.

The vinyl holds two separate projects, complete with a tracklist of 8 songs. The A Side of the 12” 180G black vinyl is home to the EP “Nice to Meet You,” and is coupled on the B Side with “Live at the Outlier Inn.” Popular tracks include “Drunk” and “Ghost.”
