Gail Patricia (Donka) Bartley, 66 of Swan Lake, NY and formerly, Inwood, NY passed on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in her home.

Born October 8, 1953 in New York, NY to the late Stephen and Rita Donka. Gail had an older sister, Carol Kaye who also passed away last year.

She was the widow of John Franklin Bartley, Sr.

Gail was raised in Inwood, NY and became an OR Technician after high school. She worked at Columbia Presbyterian and Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital. She later went on to become a Direct Support Professional at both Sullivan ARC and New Hope Community.

Later in life her favorite things were talking with and spending time with her family, shopping and going to the Liberty Diner with her best friend, Melissa Howard.

She is survived by her daughter, Jillian (Mullins) Kendrick, her many step-children, step-grandchildren, great-step-grandchildren, nieces, Kim Kaye, Lori Kaye and Jennifer Macagnone, her step-nieces and nephews and great-step-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved pets, Bear, Lily and Comet.

A memorial service will be held at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 S. Main Street, Liberty, NY on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ASPCA as this was Gail's favorite charitable organization. Social distancing guidelines will be in place and everyone will be required to wear a face mask.
