HONESDALE, PA — Where’s the best place to catch a flick in Honesdale nowadays? Honesdale Cinema closed over the pandemic, and the closest movie theater is 30+ min away! Well, The Cooperage Project is stepping up to the plate. This month they will be screening two horror movie classics, one for the kids and one for adults, in celebration of everyone's favorite spooky autumn holiday.

The Wayne County Prevention Task Force will be hosting the kids movie night on October 21 with a screening of the 90’s horror-comedy BEETLEJUICE directed by Tim Burton. Then on Halloween night, Oct 31, The Cooperage Project will be hosting an adults-only screening of the original slasher film SCREAM directed by Wes Craven. Fresh popcorn & refreshments will be served at the Red Door Cafe located right in the back of the theater. Happy Halloween!
