Heartbeat Music Hall in Grahamsville reopens for summer

Grahamsville – On Wednesday April 23, starting at 7 p.m. sharp, David and Teresa Terestyn’s Heartbeat Music Hall re-opened for the summer of 2025. This is its 11th year.

The huge, iconic folk hall was packed with every seat, table and couch taken. Across the street, the Town of Neversink parking lot was full.

The hostess and Master of Ceremonies was Debbie Fisher, who introduced up to 10 musical acts of every conceivable variety.

Then came the free-for-all jam session with guitars, drums, bongos, bass (and harmonist Jay Wallace), saxophone, keyboardist and Debbie Fisher soloist. The floor in front of the stage was for spontaneous dancing.

It was after 10 p.m., when things started to slow down a bit.

At 6 p.m,, Grahamsville rolls up the sidewalks - except every Wednesday at 7 p.m., when the startled deer and woodchucks head for the hills, as the music starts.
