Herbal Medicine in Colonial America begins June 2

GRAHAMSVILLE — Richard Mandelbaum of Forestburgh will give a presentation: Herbal Medicine in Colonial America on Sunday, June 2nd at 2 p.m. at the Time and the Valleys Museum on St. Rt. 55 in Grahamsville, Sullivan County and virtually on zoom.

Registered Herbalist Richard Mandelbaum of Forestburgh will examine the history of herbalism in 18th century America, exploring some of the prominent herbal remedies using plants found locally. Including Local Lenape medicine and its significant contribution to herbal medicine.   

Admission is $5 per person, and FREE for Museum members.  In person attendance also includes admission to the museum’s exhibitions, shop and light refreshments.   To join the program virtually, please register by email at info@timeandthevalleysmuseum.org and put “Herbal Medicine in Colonial America” in the subject line, or call 845 985-7700.
