Hurleyville fright night

Ghosts, goblins, and ghouls went down Main Street in Hurleyville for the Hurleyville Fire Department’s Annual Halloween Parade on Halloween night.

As the evening fell, the best, scariest—sometimes comical—costumes began at Mobilemedic EMS on Main Street and then paraded through Downtown Hurleyville and to the firehouse for beverages and treats.

Before the parade started, folks were treated to some real goodies at the firehouse for a Trunk or Treat affair.

For more than 70 years, the Halloween parade has been taking place in the Hamlet of Hurleyville, and it looks like the ghosts and goblins will be creeping their way down Main Street for another 70 years on Halloween.
