Irmgard Schroeder died at her Youngsville home surrounded by her family after a long illness. She was born in Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, New Jersey on Oct 14, 1934.

Irmgard was the daughter of Otto Tuleweit and Gertrude Iwahn Tuleweit.

Irmgard retired from Agway Energy, managed the gift shop at Sullivan’s for many years and also managed her rentals in Youngsville.

Her greatest love was having her family visit with her at her kitchen table which also was always a welcoming spot for all who knocked on her door!

Irmgard’s survivors include daughter Darlene and Michael O’Dell of Livingston Manor, daughter Diane & Joseph Grabek of Weeki Wachee, Fl, son Wayne and Spring Schroeder of Parksville, daughter Janice and David Casterline of Lake Placid, Florida and son Mark and Janis Schroeder of Youngsville. twelve Grandchildren, Rebecca, Keith, Michael and Brian O’Dell, Jessica, James and Scott Casterline, Steven, Joseph and Katie Schroeder, Sam Harbeson, Johanna Jacaruso, 5 step-grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Sanna Ann, Vivian and JoJo Grabek, Sebastian Ibarra and six great-grandchildren. Also many nieces and nephews and two sisters in laws Judy Tuleweit and Julie Schroeder.

Irmgard was pre-deceased by her husband Werner Schroeder and son Thomas Schroeder, brothers Gerald, Richard and sister Margaret.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Stewart-Funeral Home, 5068 State Route 52 in Jeffersonville, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at the funeral home with Fr. Roland Antony Raj, MMI officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Youngsville, NY.
