 I hope everyone is getting their shopping done and shopping local at our small businesses as much as possible. The “Diehl Homestead Farm” is shipping – the earlier you ship the better. Then down the road at “Diehl’s Farm Stand” Jack and Betty are excited to help you with a fresh cut Christmas tree, beautiful poinsettias, and other holiday needs!

“Ri’s Farm Made Ice Cream” at the Myers Century Farm (located at 112 Earl Myers Rd, Jeffersonville) has come out with new flavors for the holiday season, one of them being Toasted Marshmallow Brownie with just the first of several flavors to come! Tonight, the 15th, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. (weather permitting) they will host their 3rd live nativity with lots of lights, animals, and even hot chocolate. Bring your family and friends out and enjoy this free community event. 

The “Catskill Outdoorsman” (located at 4882 State Rte. 52, Jeffersonville) is offering “Glow Archery” every Saturday night with doors opening at 6 p.m. A night of family fun with all types of blacklight targets, balloons, and ping pong ball targets. Cost $25 per person and $15 equipment rental available. Bring your family, friends and/or co-workers to join in the fun. Perfect for holiday parties – includes music to make you dance. The Western Sullivan Public Library is offering “Anyone Can Draw,” a virtual via ZOOM on Thursday, December 21st at 4 p.m. Join Joyce Raimondo from the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center for virtual instruction. A relaxed session where you learn contour drawing skills guaranteed to improve your drawing in one hour! Supplies: a mirror, three sheets of paper, pencil, sharpener, and eraser. This Christmas season give something that means something, give blood!  St. George Church (located at 97 Schoolhouse Road- in the Hall) is the host site for the Jeffersonville Community Blood Drive, to be held on Wednesday, December 20th from 1p.m. to 6p.m. Call 1-800-REDCROSS or visit redcrossblood.org to choose your donation time. And please, share this information so that as many people as possible know about this awesome opportunity to save a life!

To get in the spirit of the holidays, take a drive through the Bethel Woods Center of the Arts “Peace Love & Lights” Holiday Light Show and More! Turn off your lights, drive through the sparkling winter wonderland, experiencing the magic of the holidays within the enchanting displays. A one-of-a-kind experience for the whole family! Fun for a carfull of friends too! From 5p.m. to 10 p.m. with last entry at 9 p.m. Cost in advance $30 per carload – price increases $5 the day of entry.
