On June 7, the Youngsville Fire Department Auxiliary is sponsoring Bingo at their fire department. Doors open at 12pm with calling starting at 1pm. Door prize, raffles plus food and drinks will be available to purchase. Your $10 at the door includes one Bingo packet (10 games). Bring your family and friends and support your volunteers while you have a great time!
Please remember the burn ban! There is still high fire danger even though the grass is green. If you have a scanner, you will hear volunteers responding frequently.
If a baby squirrel runs to you and clings to your pants leg, they are not rabid! They may have fallen from their tree and are injured, have lost their mother and in either situation, are desperate and need care. Young squirrels are an exception as they will purposefully seek help from humans. Please be kind and help them if you encounter them.
If you have any news to share, please let me know!
