The JEMS group thanks everyone that came out on Halloween for Trunk R Treat in The Backyard Park! So many amazing costumes and imaginations behind them! Music played by DJ Jim added more fun for everyone and lots of candy was given out to some scary characters! Thank you to the “helpers” that opened their trunks, dressed in costume and handed out candy too. JEMS appreciates all of you and the community for supporting them this season.
Don’t forget to take your pumpkins, smash them open and leave them for the wildlife to eat after you are done with them. Be sure to really break them open so the deer don’t get their heads stuck in them! Also, if you have lots of them, you can donate them to a local farmer – pumpkins are highly nutritious treats for livestock!
On Sunday, November 15 the Hortonville Volunteer Fire Department is having their Annual Pancake and French Toast Breakfast from 7 a.m. to Noon. Items needed: canned goods and other non-perishable foods, dry cereals, bottled water and juices. Every donation, big or small, can make a difference for local families in need. Help to fill these boxes and spread a little kindness this holiday season!
